Holiday Tours

Winter holidays are celebrated everywhere. Perhaps next year I'll have more time to explore other cultures and their celebrations of the season. .

Christmas in Asheville,NC
Enjoy Biltmore House by flickering candlelight and cozy flames reminiscent of the first Vanderbilt family Christmas in 1895. The soft light reflects off thousands of sparkling ornaments during these reservation-only evenings.
Niagara Falls Festival of Lights
The most enchanting of Niagara attractions, the Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights, has become a Holiday tradition for over one million visitors from around the globe.
Rockefeller Center
Celebrate the holiday season at Rockefeller Center. Behold the iconic Christmas tree, lace up your skates or see the famous Rockettes in a performance at Radio City Music Hall.
Small town holidays
Natchitoches, Louisiana
If you'd prefer to celebrate Christmas sans freezing temperatures, consider this central Louisiana city.

Naples, Italy
One of the streets not to miss during your walking tour in Naples, to breathe the authentic Christmas atmosphere, is certainly Via San Gregorio Armeno: the renowned alley of the Neapolitan nativity scenes, the last exponent of this ancient crib handicraft.

Note that we are building a site that is not Non-Profit. Journeyman will be promoting programs of educational travel around the world. Most of this work will be to share the organizations that are providing experiences that fit our goals. The purpose we are pursuing at Journeyman Network, is  the promotion of small group or independent travel to one place for an extended time to pursue a passionate interest. We ask for donations to support this unpaid work of sharing information about enhancing thoughtful travel. We also are creating new programs and offering the service of custom group and individual travel experiences.

Email us about setting up a group for you to explore what you are passionate about.
