Biking is a great way to visit local places and a wonderful way to appreciate a region.  I'd like to begin sharing local places to stay along with whatever the particular experience focused on. Take a look at how Carnac in France is presented and see if that format works.

Hudson Valley,USA
Between the Big Apple and Albany lies a landscape of red, white and blue. The red grapes of America's oldest vineyard. The white limestone mansions of Millionaire's Row. The blue Hudson River, your constant companion on this vibrantly colored journey into the heart of the Empire State, one of the country's most historic and captivating regions.
Most of our time will be spent in Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, supplemented with lesser-known but equally interesting destinations. We camp comfy at night and cycle, hike or wander by day. Every morning brings us to new places, from regal canyons of Navajo sandstone to amphitheatres of squiggly, alien-looking hoodoos.
Loire Valley
Let the castles of the Loire fill you with wonder. Learn to prepare regional specialties with the chef at Le Clos d’Amboise.
Cycle past olive trees and seaside towns. Ride through a sunny paradise between the blue waves of the Adriatic and the flawless green of Basilicata. Share a table with the kindest people on the Italian peninsula. Welcome to Italy less traveled. Welcome to Puglia.
Foodies, craft beer lovers, and active travelers alike will find their dream destination in Belgium. Whether you’re sampling gourmet chocolate, washing down twice-fried frites with a crisp beer, or seeking adventure in the country’s fairytale landscapes, you’ll never be bored in this cycle-friendly nation.
Carnac in France
The large stones scattered throughout the countryside and forests in various patterns and rows offer a testament to the region's ancient roots. Stay at a local farm and rent a bike.

Note that we are building a site that is not Non-Profit. Journeyman will be promoting programs of educational travel around the world. Most of this work will be to share the organizations that are providing experiences that fit our goals. The purpose we are pursuing at Journeyman Network, is  the promotion of small group or independent travel to one place for an extended time to pursue a passionate interest. We ask for donations to support this unpaid work of sharing information about enhancing thoughtful travel. We also are creating new programs and offering the service of custom group and individual travel experiences.

Email us about setting up a group for you to explore what you are passionate about.
