About Me

From growing up in rural upstate New York near Niagara Falls, I wandered into village India for a Peace Corps assignment, returned to American turmoil in 1968 Detroit, Michigan, ventured down to the Appalachian Mountains to establish a custom building career and a family. I learned enough to seek an Earthwatch study in Tunisia followed by another in France. What was I interested in? Cave dwelling cultures, of course. You get the idea. I am passionate about the world, all of it. I've retired from building unique homes and will spend my time sharing what I find about what is good, vibrant and growing in this world. Explore with us.

Note that we are building a site that is not Non-Profit. Journeyman will be promoting programs of educational travel around the world. Most of this work will be to share the organizations that are providing experiences that fit our goals. The purpose we are pursuing at Journeyman Network, is  the promotion of small group or independent travel to one place for an extended time to pursue a passionate interest. We ask for donations to support this unpaid work of sharing information about enhancing thoughtful travel. We also are creating new programs and offering the service of custom group and individual travel experiences.

Email us about setting up a group for you to explore what you are passionate about.
